JCPS Elementary School Championships 2017

We would like to welcome all JCPS Elementary Schools to the 6th annual JCPS Elementary School Cross-Country Championships. This year's championships will be held at scenic Charlie Vettiner Park and feature the following lineup and awards:

3K Race for 5th and 4th grades -- top 5 schools get trophies and top 50 individuals get medals

2K Race for 3rd and 2nd -- top 5 schools get trophies and top 50 individuals get medals

2K Open Race 5th and under -- top 50 individuals get medals

Mile Fun Run for K-1

Race times:

10:00- 3K Girls 5th & Under Championship

10:30- 3K Boys 5th & Under Championship

11:00- 2K Girls 3rd & Under Championship

11:25- 2K Boys 3rd & Under Championship

11:45- 2K Boys & Girls 5th & Under Open

12:15- Mile Fun Run K/1st Grade

Cost:

Championship races: $3 per runner - To make it easier, this year you can enter all your athletes in one division - Elementary A (Boys/Girls).

Fun Run: no teams, no fee. Coaches, please mark an X on the back of the hand of all Fun Run runners so we can verify that they are K-1 and to prevent random kids from jumping into the race. Note: This is not a timed race, K-1s running in the race do not need bibs/numbers and you do not need to register runners for this race.

This is a race put on by JCPS teams for JCPS teams. The objective is to have all teams take part in planning and administering the event.
